Designed for an artist, the project sets out to create two building. One is a house for the family and studio for his art work. The other is a small lodge of 6 keys. Both buildings create a playful composition of volumes, stacked to best fit the terracing of the site. The property is spread over multiple terraces, supported by beautiful old stone walls and surrounded by many types of trees, including several fruit trees. The organic nature of the volume composition was inspired by the random fallen fruits found during our first visit.
